Oxythiamin diphosphate ammonium is a potent transketolase (TK) inhibitor [1] .
Rat liver TK was inhibited at 50% by oxythiamine diphosphate ammonium in concentrations of 0.02-0.2 μM. I 50 value of Oxythiamine diphosphate ammonium for yeast transketolase is approximately 0.03 μM [1] .
MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
